LUNENBURG — The Lunenburg Planning Board unanimously approved a site plan for a food pantry relocation at 30 School Street and recommended a package of zoning cleanups for the November 17 Special Town Meeting. Engineer Greg Roy told the board the Zoning Board of Appeals had already granted a required variance for the project. Abutter Diane Rexnitis raised concerns about a nearby streetlight possibly being brightened or put on a timer, saying "that is my home forever"; the board added a condition requiring any streetlight changes near the site to return for Planning Board review.
The recommended zoning package includes giving the board authority to set its own stormwater permit fees and deleting an outdated provision allowing two dwellings on one lot. The board also postponed approving its September 28 minutes pending corrections on vote records for two prior items.
