Lunenburg's Conservation Commission continued four lakefront wall and patio cases after its agent said one wall was degraded enough to warrant emergency repair. Conservation Agent Herlin Jaime told the board a timber retaining wall at 386 Sunset Lane on Lake Shirley was in such disrepair that "this actually should have been like an emergency cert," describing a bungee-corded gate and a drop that sent a foot into the water above the knee. At 3 Wilderwood Avenue, members debated removing two mature maples and a stand of pines for a new engineered wall on Lake Whalom, ultimately agreeing to spare the pines and require 3-to-1 replacement for any maples removed.
Planning Director Stephen Wallace previewed four zoning amendments, including senior housing design standards and an expanded inclusionary bylaw, headed to the 2027 town meeting. The board also approved $9,411.50 in flooring and up to $700 in paint for the town's Hollis Road conservation house.
